Xyron + G45 and Petaloo

this week over at Xyron blog hop is in full swing and the projects have just been incredible!

the design team have created  fabulous work of arts

here is my take on Xyron,  G45 Steampunk spells, and petaloo

A halloween favor boxes for trick or treat ... love G45 halloween paper ranges

how I created the house was making a pyramid shape template

which is the base back house 12 inches wide at the bottom and 12 inches high. Once you have your pyramid shape template you can add a roof, some curves in the house etc

Now you have created your base back house, cover your template in G45 pattern paper using the Xyron mega runner and tape runner  for a quick and easy adhesive

 add the G45 steampunk spells die cuts and stickers

I also cut a circle for the top left hand corner for a moon !

now once you have done your back base you can make some really cute treat boxes for giving

that sit in front of the house to make it a dimensional display.

Once again cover your boxes in G45 pattern paper , then stack

Last step is to make a front little house

Once again cover in your pattern paper and decorate ! the fold mark is so that flap will slide under the treat boxes for a stand alone display. Now it is totally up to you what size you want to make your haunted house, you could even make a double house ?

Where did i get the idea?, here in Aussie Halloween is not a real big celebration here! but i went to a party shop here and saw something similar as a display. ( i took a couple of pics ) and decided to create a small version in scrapbook paper! so ladies you can get ideas anywhere .
